JPJ officers reportedly attacked by pet dogs and affected by black magic

Muhammad Kifli said these incidents were among the risks faced by enforcement officers, particularly when dealing with individuals who attempted to evade action after violating the law, as reported by Harian Metro.

He explained that such incidents occurred when officers were trying to pursue drivers and take enforcement action against them.

“Throughout Op PEWA, there have been many threats against our officers. There have been cases where officers chased drivers to a certain area before being locked inside by foreigners from the outside.

“There were also officers who were bitten by pet dog kept at the premises. Some officers even claimed that they had been affected by black magic,” he said.

He added that the department would continue taking firm action against those involved in such offences, while ensuring the safety of its officers.

“We will continue enforcing the law. Our officers are trained to handle various situations, but their safety remains a priority,” he said.
