They wrote, “The Karak Enforcement Station implemented Ops Luxury, an enforcement operation that focuses on luxury vehicles using expired road tax. Operation results showed that 6 luxury cars were seized. The vehicles were seized under Section 64(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for further action.”

“A vehicle was also detected to have been displaying a registration number that does not belong to the vehicle, which is a serious offence under Section 108(3)(f) of the Road Transport Act 1987.”

“JPJ Pahang reminds that every vehicle owner is obliged to ensure that their vehicles comply with road laws by having road tax and insurance that are still in force before using it on the road,” they added.
