KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Road Transport Department (JPJ) seized a luxury Toyota Supra 3.0L owned by a businessman during a special enforcement operation in Jalan Tuaran on Monday morning.

JPJ said the vehicle was found to have an expired Motor Vehicle Licence (LKM), no valid insurance coverage and a registration number that did not comply with specifications.

Sabah JPJ director Datuk Mohd Harris Ali said the offences violated Sections 23(1) and 90(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

“The vehicle has been seized for further action under the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said.
