Live concert experience brings music from all three seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen to Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre
Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen can experience its music and cinematic storytelling in a new way as Jujutsu Kaisen in Concert makes its Malaysian debut at Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre on Oct 20 and 21.
Produced by GEA Live and RoadCo Entertainment in partnership with Toho Co., Ltd., the concert combines live music with scenes from all three seasons of the globally popular anime series.
Anime meets live performance
Jujutsu Kaisen in Concert brings together classical and modern instruments to recreate some of the series’ most memorable musical moments.
During the performance, scenes from the anime are projected on a large HD cinema screen while a live ensemble performs the accompanying score. The format aims to bring the series’ battles, emotional turning points and quieter moments to life through a combination of sound and visuals.
The concert explores key moments from across the series, including Gojo’s flashbacks and the emotionally charged events of the Shibuya arc.
For producer and GEA Live Managing Director Floris Douwes, music is central to the identity of Jujutsu Kaisen.
“Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime defined by its emotional weight, visual language and music. This concert brings those elements together in a live setting, combining an exceptional band with cinematic visuals to present the story in a way that is faithful to the original work while being elevated by live performance,” he said.

Rather than simply recreating the anime’s soundtrack, the live format allows audiences to experience its music alongside the scenes that give each composition context.
