Former Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar had sympathy for Alex Meret after Napoli's Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.
Meret was at fault for Nico Paz's goal as Real eventually won their Champions League encounter 4-2.
Julio Cesar said: "Until the mistake, Meret was doing great match, Paz's shot was a bit difficult, unlucky because the ball bounces in front of him and passes between the seas.
"He could have done much better. However, the error comes from the defence, these things make the difference.
"Real Madrid is a team that is aware that it can win at any time."
