Kota Kinabalu: The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Tanjung Aru, in collaboration with Sunway Medical Centre, will be hosting a blood donation drive on April 6 at Suria Sabah.
The event will take place on the second floor, in front of Klinik Pergigian PH.
The initiative aims to encourage community participation in life-saving efforts by donating blood.
“A single blood donation has the potential to help multiple patients in need, making a significant difference in their lives. As a token of appreciation, successful donors will receive free goodie bags and food,” JCI said.
There will also be free health screenings and tests.
“These screenings play a vital role in the early detection of potential health concerns, allowing individuals to take proactive steps toward better well-being,” it said.
JCI, or Junior Chamber International, is a global non-profit organization comprising young individuals aged 18 to 40.
The blood donation drive is part of JCI Tanjung Aru’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and promote a healthier society.
“Everyone is encouraged to take part in this meaningful initiative to help save lives and improve public health,” it said.
