Junior Messias is full of pride with his form for Genoa this season.
The midfielder is proud to be Genoa's No10 this term.
He told Radio Serie A: "I am proud to wear the Genoa shirt because it is a club with a beautiful history and the fans demonstrate it: you can see the passion they have for this shirt and we footballers must be proud to play in front of our fans; there are few like them today in my opinion, how we feel their warmth during the matches.
"The number 10? I wanted to take this number because I wanted to go back to being the Messias who plays with a smile, who goes onto the pitch to play Brazilian football, like a time.
"Unfortunately today the number 10 shirt has lost the magic it once had, I wear it with responsibility and I'm happy to wear it always trying to give my best; even when I don't have the ball, I want to help the team in every moment."
