Kota Kinabalu: The State MFL Under-23 team are urged to work hard in preparation for the 2024/2025 season.

Team manager Datuk Abdul Kassim Razali, who made the call in his speech delivered by deputy manager Datuk George Teo An Lun during the breaking of fast event held at Bistro BTC in Kolombong on Wednesday, also reminded the players to be disciplined.

“Every one who are in the team, specially the players must continue to work hard. They need to be disciplined and maintain their focus and strive to achieve success in the coming new season,” he said.

The squad this year is still being coached by Johnny Dominicus who has been retained together with goalkeeper coach Rozaimie Rohim while the two assistant coaches are Vun Kit Ming @ Billyton and Razlan Oto.

Kassim, who also contributed presents at the event, hopes the gathering will help to strengthen the bonds between the players and the management.

“It is a golden opportunity to be able to gather together the players and the management team in the holy month of Ramadan this year.

“This breaking of fast together is also a reward for the hard work they had all put in training,” he said.

Also present at the event was deputy manager II Razali Saini.
