KUALA LUMPUR: JUNNY, the New God of Korean R&B Singer, just finished his first ever ‘blanc’ TOUR 2023 ASIA in Kuala Lumpur two weeks ago!
The show started with a supporting show from local artist, MADISON. He lit the opening with his latest single “SIAPA”, a song about achieving his dream.
DJ Minjeong, the official support DJ of the tour, then took the stage with an incredible DJ mix of current popular songs such as “MONEY” by Lisa of BLACKPINK. She might look cool on the outside, but she’s cute and talented inside!
Finally, the most anticipated moment arrived! JUNNY kicked off his show with “Color Me (feat. CHUNG HA”. As a talented R&B singer and songwriter, he also talks about how he finds inspiration in writing songs, such as “Not About You”, a song dedicated to his ex that talks about how delusional his ex-girlfriend was, thinking that all of his songs were talking about her when it wasn't. The fans were also chanting and screaming loudly for JUNNY too!
He also performed his latest hit, “INVITATION (feat. Gaeko)", which he originally wrote for a TikTok dance challenge and had no idea it would be such a big hit!
He then spoiled his fans with an unreleased song, one he wrote for his dog, Leo. Though the actual release date and song title have yet to be released, the lyrics “every place that I go, I promise I’ll think of you” showed how sweet JUNNY is to his beloved dog!
During the song request session, JUNNY also sang his co-written songs, “Mmmh” by KAI, and “Graduation” by NCT Dream.
The shows wrap up with “Thank You”, a truly beautiful song to thank fans for coming to the show. And, of course, there will definitely be an encore stage! JUNNY lit up the stage to the very end with ‘INVITATION”, his "invitation, a celebration" to his fans to join him on his first ever Asia Tour.
JUNNY promised that he would come back to Malaysia with a bigger stage, more fun, and better songs, and he hopes to see everyone again! Will you go and join in the excitement until then?
