Jurgen Klopp has blasted Liverpool fans for their reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold in his first game since announcing he would leave the club.
Alexander-Arnold is set to join Real Madrid at the end of the season when his contract expires. Klopp said he “switched the telly off” after hearing boos during the Premier League match against Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday, 11 May 2025
“Honestly, I could not have been more disappointed at this moment," The former Liverpool manager said.
“I don't tell you you should not be angry, you should not be disappointed, I tell you don't forget. This club doesn't forget.”
