PAPAR: With Ramadan just a few days away, a family of five was put to the test when their home was destroyed in a fire in Kampung Nyaris-Nyaris, Bongawan, here, this morning.
All of them managed to escape in the 11.30am incident, according to a fire department update.
Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Acting Chief of the Kimanis Fire and Rescue Station Jaffar Salleh said a team of firemen were rushed to the location after receiving an emergency call at 11.39am.
"The fire involved a semi-permanent house measuring 30x50 feet which was completely burnt down. Also destroyed were a Proton Wira and a Honda NSR motorcycle," he said, adding there were no human casualties.
