- Metropolitan Police officers descended on the scene shortly after midday, blocking surrounding roads and removing several demonstrators while working alongside Transport for London to mitigate disruption.
- Activists supported the action from behind metal barriers displaying placards advocating for national security and child welfare, whilst buses were forced out of service due to blocked roads.
- Just Stop Oil spokesman Cameron Ford highlighted the severe impact of recent heatwaves on British farmers and criticised official government wildfire warnings as merely performative.
