Justin Bieber will bring his swag to the World Cup's star-studded, Super Bowl-style halftime show, Fifa announced Wednesday.
The 11-minute spectacle will feature an array of global music icons, with Bieber joining fellow headliners Madonna, Shakira and BTS.
The show, curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, will take place on July 19 outside New York during the final match.
The performance roster includes Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy, acclaimed Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, an elementary school choir from Staten Island, who will perform alongside Coldplay.
The event aims to support the Fifa Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks to raise $100 million to enhance children's access to education and soccer worldwide.
Bieber shared his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating: "The Fifa World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world."

Burna Boy co-created this year’s official World Cup anthem, Dai Dai, with Shakira. The track blends Afrobeats and Latin rhythms into a global, multilingual pop hit, with lyrics celebrating participating nations and renowned players like "Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia," and "Mexico, Japan, Korea, Netherlands."
Reflecting on his role, Burna Boy commented: "The FIFA World Cup is one of the few moments that truly brings the entire world together.
“To represent Africa on the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show is a privilege and a responsibility that I don’t take lightly."
While the Super Bowl is famed for its halftime show, such performances are not commonplace in soccer, with events like the Champions League final featuring a pre-match concert.
Adding to the unique lineup, beloved characters from "Sesame Street," alongside Muppets Kermit and Miss Piggy, are also slated to appear.
