After months of anticipation, Justin Bieber launches the first drop of his new fashion label SKYLRK and releases his new 21-track album SWAG all in one fell swoop.
SWAG is Bieber’s seventh studio album and first full body of work since Justice (2021). Features on the album include Gunna, Sexxy Red, Cash Cobain, Lil B, Eddie Benjamin, Dijon, and Druski. A big genre shift from his previous work, the tracks are mostly slow, raw, introspective, and uplifting, culminating in “Forgiveness” by gospel artist Marvin Winans as the outro.
The first release from SKYLRK features two footwear silhouettes, including a wavy Beach slide and a Chunky Mule featuring a felt-like finish and elevated sole units. Skylrk’s double-star logo is centred on the bottom of both slides, which emanates outwards to create pulse-like grooves.
Apparel options include minimalist Men’s and Women’s Tanks in a ribbed finish, boxy Zip Hoodies, and raw hem beanies. Rounding out the selection are chunky Upside Down sunglasses, which come in a padded drawstring bag. Colour options for the pieces, including “Blues Blue,” “Powder Pink,” “Fizz,” “Smudge,” “Jelly,” and “Gum,” echo the brand’s laid-back and organic aesthetic.
SKYLRK is now live via the brand website, and the album is available on streaming platforms. SKYLRK’s drop 1 pieces range from $505 to $1,700 HKD.
