KOTA KINABALU: Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Justin Wong called for fairer treatment for Tawau, demanding better roads, flood mitigation, and basic services.
He criticised the government’s plan to build roundabouts on congested Jalan Sin Onn instead of upgrading it, and highlighted persistent flooding and abandoned projects, including a RM7.5 million tidal gate left unused due to unpaid electricity bills.
He also questioned poor maintenance, citing clogged drains and unfulfilled flood control plans.

He urged clarity, accountability, and action for Tawau’s neglected needs.
