Juventus caretaker coach Paolo Montero was delighted with Nicolo Fagioli in victory against Monza.
He was back for the first time since October's betting ban and hit the crossbar in the 2-0 win.
Montero later said: "Fagioli has returned very well and is a player who always knows how to position himself on the pitch and lend a hand to the team.
"Luckily he was called up by (Italy coach Luciano) Spalletti.
'He can become a pillar of Juventus because he has the personality to do so."
