Juventus coach Max Allegri feels the club is back on the right track.
Allegri has decided to remain in charge as he seeks to play his part in the club's rebuild after last season's capital gains scandal and board resignation.
He said: "I'm back with a precise program. In these two years where Juve hasn't won a trophy, I thought it was easier. There are only 3 goalkeepers and 7 outfield players left. In my opinion, we did a good job, the goal was to renew the team. Seven players from the Next Gen this season, we reduced the salary and raised the asset value.
"I came back because it was a challenge. After five years I left a team that had made history. I made a mistake of presumption by thinking I would immediately win again. It was my personal challenge. I was disappointed after Juve-Ajax but this is football, you can't always win or lose. Working on growth objectives? Yes and for this reason I am satisfied with what has been done in the last two years."
