Corriere della Sera says Juve have identified the Argentina international as a priority signing before the market shuts.
Paredes has already given his approval and the outline of contract terms have been settled.
The midfielder is close to the Argentines at Juve.
Juve now plan to open talks with PSG over a fee for Paredes.
