Juventus defender Danilo was delighted with victory over Empoli on Sunday.
The veteran scored in the 2-0 win.
He said: "There are no easy starts, last year they made us suffer and we wanted to show that what happened was an episode.
"This team is proud and hungry.
"Empoli impresses with short defensive unit and three that remain high, but we did well and we are happy with this victory."
