Juventus great Alex del Piero believes the club's problems off the pitch influenced their dismal defeat to Monza.
The result, along with their 15 points penalty, leaves Juve in the bottom half of the table and with coach Max Allegri warning of the threat of relegation.
Del Piero said, "Monza is a bete noire for Juventus, sometimes these things happen, but certainly today the Bianconeri have made mistakes that are not worthy of the players and of the team, of the errors they were the stuff of children.
"The psychological and physical situation that the club is experiencing and what happens off the pitch, I think this is inflicting important blows on those who take the field.
"With Atalanta there was a reaction from all points of view, a team that is good to look at, aggressive. Today we have seen very little and it is the most alarming fact. Juve as well as Milan are having important battles off the pitch and it's not easy to isolate yourself. It will be a challenging task."
