Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot admits growing up a Liverpool fan.
The France international is off contract in June and the Reds are among clubs to be linked with the Bosman prospect.
He told Tuttosport: "At the moment there is no news, but we will certainly talk soon. Because in about two months the season is over and we will try to discuss it, but I am calm.
"The possibility to leave is there, but there is also an opportunity to sign a new contract with Juve.
"I followed Liverpool as a child because I was a fan of Steven Gerrard.
"He made me dream, so I used to follow the Reds. My second idol was Zizou (Zinedine) Zidane."
