Juventus could be put up for sale in the coming months.

Il Giornale reports parent company Exor, after 100 years of ownership, are now discussing selling the Old Lady.

Exor, controlled by the Agnelli family and listed in the Netherlands, considers Juventus' recent financial results "no longer sustainable" and is embarrassed by its legal problems.

Exor believes that after the operations to clean up the accounts of the historically most successful team in Italy, it will be able to put it up for sale for at least 1.5 billion euros, according to Il Giornale.

However, Exor has assured for its part that it has no plans to put the club up for sale, a spokesperson said on Monday, denying the press report. The spokesperson said in a statement that the report is "unfounded."
