The Guardian says Everton have made an attempt to sign 23-year-old Weah.
The Blues sought a loan agreement for the rest of the season - but has since been turned down.
Weah has chosen to reject a potential move to Everton, as he wants to stay and fight for his place at Juventus.
Weah's contract with Juventus runs until the summer of 2028.
