The criticisms quickly caught the attention of Jessi, the famous South Korean-American rapper and singer known for hits like ‘ZOOM’ and ‘NUNU NANA.’ Jessi defended Jennie in the TikTok comments, writing, "Jennie literally looks so elegant and flawless. Y’all need to seriously find something better to do..." Jessi's fans soon flooded the comment section, showing their support for Jennie, while BLINKS praised Jessi for her support. Despite the mixed reactions, Jennie appears unbothered as she receives praises and warmly embraces a hug from Simon Porte Jacquemus, the designer himself, who seems pleased with her performance. She even posted on her Instagram expressing her gratitude to him and the brand for the opportunity to be on the runway.
