More about Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher is a K-pop girl group, previously known as MINX, under the Dreamcatcher Company. They originally debuted as a five-piece band with members JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami in 2014. In 2017, the group re-debuted with two additional members, Handong and Gahyun, becoming a septet.
As Dreamcatcher, they debuted with the single album ‘Nightmare’, which proved to be a departure from their former musical style. They focused more on a dark rock tone as well as electronic music and metal. That same year, they released their second single album, ‘Fall Asleep in the Mirror,’ followed by their first EP, ‘Prequel.’
Throughout their career, Dreamcatcher has released 12 EPs, six single albums, and three studio albums. They also won numerous awards, including the Global Artist Award (North America) at the 2023 Hanteo Music Awards and Best Female K-pop Idol at the 2023 Forbes Korea K-pop Awards.
