Napoli defender Kostas Manolas has paid tribute to Daniele de Rossi.
Both players left Roma this summer, with De Rossi due to sign with Boca Juniors.
De Rossi said, He's a captain on and off the field. He gave me a lot and I love him.
"He's always given me advice, he's an excellent professional. It's a shame that he'll no longer be in Italian football.
I wish him all the best. I'm sure he'll do well, he's a true champion and he deserves this chance."
