Kabul mosque explosion leaves 10 dead

KABUL: At least 10 people, including a prominent cleric, were killed in an explosion that ripped through a mosque in Kabul during evening prayers on Wednesday, according to media reports.

The emergency hospital in the Afghan capital said they had received 27 people wounded in the blast, including children, reported Xinhua.

Eyewitnesses said the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber.

Last week, a blast in Kabul killed two people, including a renowned religious scholar. The Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack. - Bernama
