Former Manchester United star Andrei Kanchelskis has slammed Chelsea's current owners.
Kanchelskis is amazed by the demise of Chelsea ever since the UK government seized the club from Roman Abramovich after 19 years of success and had it sold to Todd Boehly and ClearLake Capital.
Kanchelskis declared: I think that after the departure of Roman Abramovich, Chelsea, of course, turned from a top club in the Premier League into a laughing stock.
"This is true. Under Abramovich, the Londoners have changed and regularly won titles, took the Champions League, reached the finals.
"Solidarity with the fans: they are right in everything. I wish them good luck and that they will someday get such a leader as Abramovich."
