Katie Price’s husband found alive in Dubai prison after spy suspicion

  • Katie Price has told The Sun newspaper that she has successfully located her husband, Lee Andrews, after weeks of uncertainty regarding his whereabouts.
  • Andrews contacted Price from Al Awir prison in Dubai on Wednesday morning (27 May), having been missing since 14 May.
  • Andrews, whom Price married in January, reportedly told her during the rushed call that authorities in Dubai suspected him of being a spy.
  • His father facilitated the call from Al Awir prison, where Andrews claimed he had been detained since 13 May on suspicion of espionage.
  • Price had publicly raised the alarm about Andrews' disappearance on 16 May, expressing fears of kidnapping after he went missing following an attempt to cross the Dubai border.
  • Andrews is expected to be released on Monday, 1 June, after paying a four-figure fine, with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office confirming support for his family.
