Katy Perry was forced to hide behind the judge’s desk as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction on American Idol.
The singer, 39, wore a striking silver top from designer Kate Barton on the latest elimination episode - and called several wardrobe assistants to the stage when it broke.
“If it’s not fixed, this show is going to get more than it wanted,” a shocked Perry says, in a clip shared on her social media accounts.
Fellow judge Luke Bryan even tried to offer a helping hand, grabbing a pair of pliers before joking: “I’m going in!”
