Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has criticised Ryan Yates of Nottingham Forest.

The midfielder was unhappy with Tottenham star James Maddison during his team's 3-1 loss in the Premier League on Sunday.

Yates was pushed by Maddison, but then went down and indicated that VAR should take a look at the incident.

On Sky Sports, ex-footballer and pundit Jamie Redknapp said: It's not a lot.

Yates is like that, he tries to get into players' faces, a bit like Gascoigne and Vinnie Jones many years ago."

And Keane replied: I worked with Yates at Forest, really nice kid, but every week somebody touches him he goes down.

He goes down far too easily. For such a decent lad he needs to cut that out of his game."
