Oh, what a delightful déjà vu moment for Kedah's government – nothing like a good old orange t-shirt parade to bring back the nostalgia of presenting a mattress as evidence in court.

Clearly, the fashion choices for legal drama have evolved.

Political secretary Zulkifli Yahaya, the unsung hero of courtroom couture, questions the necessity of handcuffs and orange attire, pondering if it's a mandatory SOP or just a snazzy fashion statement.

Because who doesn't want to look fabulous when accused of corruption?

And let's not forget the brilliant comparison to Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi's investigation attire – a missed opportunity for an orange fashion show, apparently.

One wonders how many SOP standards there are; it's not criticism, just a genuinely curious inquiry into the intricacies of legal fashion.

Zulkifli's revelation that Kedah MB Muhammad Sanusi Mohd Nor is the primary target, with the four accused merely as accessories, adds a plot twist to rival the most dramatic courtroom dramas.

Move over, Hero of Malaya – it seems handcuffs are the latest accessory for political intrigue.

The anticipation of image assassination, even before charges are filed, leaves us on the edge of our seats.

Are the conspirators laughing at their successful political chess moves, or are they just enjoying a good game of "Impeach Your Enemy: The Orange Edition"?

In the grand tradition of mattress-based court performances, the question arises: should we not protect human dignity in this civilized age, or is the orange t-shirt the new symbol of justice?

Only time will tell if this saga unfolds as a gripping legal drama or a satirical sitcom. Stay tuned for the next episode of “Kedah Chronicles: Orange Is the New Accused.”

For the uninitiated my punch line is from a TV series Orange Is the New Black!
