SHAH ALAM, April 13 — The state government will prioritise the repairs of homes and handling rentals for victims of the April 1 Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion.
State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin said his office will coordinate both efforts.
“Today, the Putra Heights Mosque relief centre was shut, and the state will coordinate rental homes for victims and post-recovery efforts,” he said today.
He was met after representing the Selangor government in receiving a contribution of RM500,000 from the Kelantan government, presented by Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud.

Accompanying Fadzli was state executive councillor for youth, sports and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi.
The contribution was channelled to the Selangor Prihatin Fund to help victims of the gas pipeline blast.
Nassuruddin said: “Kelantan and Selangor have a long relationship, and when disaster struck Kelantan, Selangor sent help.
“This (gas pipeline explosion) also involved seven families from Kelantan. Some were hurt but all are safe,” he added.
