Kelly Osbourne has paid tribute to her close friend Amy Winehouse on what would have been the late British singer's 43rd birthday.
The artist died at the age of 27 in July 2011.
She and Osbourne, 41, shared a close bond, with the TV personality paying tribute to Winehouse on numerous occasions in the years following her death.
To mark Winehouse’s birthday on 14 September, Osbourne shared a selection of images showing them together across the years, including posing in photoshoots, shopping trips, and pictures of her friend with her late father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In an Instagram post, she wrote: "Happy birthday, my beautiful Amy.
"There are some people who come into your life and leave footprints on your heart so deep that time could never possibly erase them. You are one of those people.
"When I think of you, I don’t think of the headlines, the photographs, or the noise. I think of your laugh. Your wicked sense of humour. The little moments nobody else saw. The nights we laughed until our stomachs hurt, your meat balls, the conversations that only best friends could understand, and that extraordinary heart you carried beneath all that brilliance."
She added: "You were magic, Amy. Beautifully, wildly, imperfectly human and so very loved. Today, I hope wherever you are, you are surrounded by the kind of peace you deserved here."
Osbourne stated that Winehouse was "still loved, still missed, still spoken about with laughter and tears, and still carried in the hearts of the people lucky enough to have known you".
"I miss you in ways words will never quite manage to explain. So today I won’t say goodbye. I’ll simply say what I wish I could have said to you every year: Happy birthday, sweetheart. I love you. I always will. Keep singing somewhere beautiful. Until we meet again."
Winehouse achieved global stardom following the release of her landmark 2006 album Back To Black.
The musician, who spoke openly about her struggles with alcohol and drugs throughout her career, became associated with the so-called "27 club" after dying at that age.
In July last year, Osbourne’s father, the Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy, died at the age of 76. As she observed the one-year anniversary of his death, Osbourne admitted she still "aches every single day".
In a message posted on social media, she wrote: "One year ago today, the world changed forever.
"Today, I sit here beside you in a way I never thought would be possible. I know you are still with me."
Osbourne explained that living without her father "has been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure" and stated: "Now all I have are memories. But my God, what beautiful memories they are.
"Even through all the madness we lived through, you somehow made every moment worthwhile."
Recounting fond memories of her father, she added: "I have never loved anyone or anything as deeply as uniquely as I love you.
"And now I carry all of that love with nowhere to place it except within me, my son, and mumma.
"It aches every single day, but it is also the greatest privilege of my life. To have loved someone so completely."
