Are former Kapuso actor Ken Chan’s whereabouts already known to local authorities? Won’t they look into the report of Cristy Fermin and company’s online program “Showbiz Now Na” (SNN) to help track down Ken, who is wanted for syndicated estafa?
In a recent “SNN” episode, its three hosts said they gathered from their sources that Ken is currently based in Thailand.
Several months ago, it was reported that the former heartthrob had gone into hiding somewhere in Asia. Unconfirmed reports then suggested that Ken was in Vietnam.
The painstaking search for the missing Ken, however, seems to have taken a fresh turn as “SNN” reported that the erstwhile actor has been staying in the Land of Smiles for a couple of months now.
To elude possible arrest by Thai immigration officers, Ken is said to be hopping from one bar to another in Patpong, Bangkok’s red light district.
Allegedly, he has also sought refuge with Filipino friends based there.
“SNN” likewise painted a picture of how Ken supposedly looks now — reed-thin, balding and with nary a trace of the artista look he once possessed.
The “SNN” hosts attributed Ken’s present appearance to the stressful condition that continues to haunt him.
Looking back, a warrant of arrest was twice served at his residence in September and November 2024. Ken had since been sending feelers about his voluntary surrender to refute the claims of his business partner-accusers.
“SNN” said there’s a possibility that Ken might turn himself in amid the current political turmoil.

IN her guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Ashley Ortega categorically stated that it wasn’t a bad breakup between her and Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala.
Her next line sounded baffling though: “We’re not friends.”
Asked how come, the Kapuso actress shared that they haven’t met up nor spoken to each other since.
It doesn’t mean though that Ashley isn’t aware of the young mayor’s love life.
In fact, she’s happy for Mark, whom she describes as “ang swerte, nakatagpo siya ng isang Kathryn Bernardo!” [He is lucky, he found someone like Kathryn Bernardo!]
A self-confessed huge fan of Kathryn, Ashley couldn’t help but shriek: “I’m happy for both of them!”
Of course, Mark will eternally remain in Ashley’s psyche. Wasn’t her having shacked up with him the reason her mom wouldn’t take her back?
