Kota Kinabalu: The Keningau Vocational College (KVC) dance troupe, who won a silver medal at the Star Bridge Malaysia-Poland Arts Competition last month, said they are committed to honouring local traditional dances through participation in various events.

KVC College Director Nordin Akup expressed his gratitude for the dedication of the troupe guided by teacher Nurazilah Othman.

“Their efforts not only highlight the country’s cultural diversity but also helps preserve cultural heritage,” he said recently in a statement.

He emphasised that he will continue to support the college’s performing arts team, which consistently seeks out and nurtures young talent across a range of artistic disciplines.
