Rayyan Adam has said it loud and clear — Malaysia is now run by the Kerajaan Paling Pandir Sejak Merdeka.

Frankly, who can argue? Ministers are busy waving PowerPoint slides filled with GDP, CPI, FDI, KPI — all the acronyms that make investors smile but leave the rakyat hungry.

Spoiler: it doesn’t work. But it sure keeps politicians looking clever while the rakyat look for extra kerja sambilan just to survive.

Bold statement? Maybe. But Malaysia has a long tradition of stupid governments — each competing to outdo the other. Some stole billions, some raised tolls and taxes, and some now pretend statistics are nasi lemak.
Meanwhile, the rakyat’s daily reality is painfully simple:

Yet in Parliament, it’s still the same wayang kulit: boasting of exports, trade surpluses, and the magical “investor confidence.” The only confidence rakyat has is that tomorrow will be more expensive than today.
So, maybe Rayyan’s rant isn’t extreme at all. Maybe it’s just a reflection of the truth — that Malaysians are sick of a government that treats economics like theatre, while the rakyat’s perut remains kosong.
At this rate, the only thing Malaysia will export in surplus is sarcasm.
