Malaysia’s homegrown experienced AI engineer, Nai Khai Yang, with over 15 years of experience, is organising XploreTech, the first-ever Fintech conference in Malaysia focused on technology.
The conference is designed to take Malaysia to the next level and bring together Fintech experts worldwide to share their knowledge and experiences on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. This is set to drive growth in the industry.
Realising the need for a Fintech conference in Malaysia that focuses on technology, Khai launched XploreTech with a clear goal: to bring together technology innovators and adopters to accelerate the adoption and advancement of technology in the industry. “With the rapid growth of the fintech industry in Malaysia, there is a need for more discussion and sharing of technology insights and knowledge among technology innovators and adopters,” said Khai, hoping the conference will revolutionise the Fintech industry in the country.
“XploreTech is a conference aimed at bridging the gap between innovators and adopters in the fintech industry, empowering them with AI and cybersecurity. The conference seeks to foster collaboration and partnerships among attendees. There will be valuable insights, workshops, labs, speakers, panel discussions, and networking sessions. Participants will gain practical knowledge and insights that can be applied in their organizations, as well as have the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and experts in the fintech industry.”
XploreTech has gained the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) endorsement and approval from the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) to be claimable. The conference will be held at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre from July 25-27, this year.
This recognition shows how supportive public agencies are of the conference, which will make it even more successful. “With MDEC's endorsement, the conference's technology content is in line with the government's digital transformation agenda, which aims to transform the country into a regional digital hub.” Meanwhile, HRD Corp's claimable approval supports the country's human capital development, encouraging companies to send their staff to attend the conference and enhance their knowledge and skills in fintech, AI and cybersecurity. XploreTech's alignment with MDEC and HRD Corp highlights its significance as a critical event in Malaysia's digital economy and Fintech industry.
Khai is no stranger to the world of Fintech. He spent more than a decade in the US and Singapore, gaining valuable experience as the Director of AI Engineering and Chief Architect at MoneyLion, a US-based Fintech start-up and digital bank. During his tenure there, Khai designed, developed, and implemented AI-powered financial software used by millions of users.
“One of the exciting prospects of the conference is the potential of disruptive AI technologies, such as ChatGPT and Bard, that could change the Fintech industry. These technologies are designed to revolutionise customer service and communication by providing personalized responses to customers' inquiries, ultimately enhancing the customer experience.”
With Khai's vision, experience, and the potential of disruptive AI technologies, XploreTech is set to revolutionize the Fintech industry in Malaysia. “The conference is not just a place for knowledge-sharing but also for building partnerships and collaborations,” said Khai, whose goal is to revolutionize the industry by empowering it with AI and cybersecurity and build Malaysia's digital future.
"I am thrilled to launch XploreTech and bring together the brightest minds in the Fintech industry in Malaysia. We aim to revolutionize the industry by empowering it with AI and cybersecurity and building Malaysia's digital future. With the potential of ChatGPT and Bard to disrupt the industry, we are excited to see what the future holds," said Khai
Khai said, with the support of public agencies, a strong line-up of international speakers, and valuable content, the conference is set to be a great success.
