
A student of a Khanna college topped the Panjab University semester exams, the results for which were declared recently. Simranjit Kaur, a student of BSc at AS College, Khanna, bagged the first position in the third semester exams by scoring 9.71 SGPA. Navjot Kaur of BA third semester clinched second position in the university with 9.08 SGPA. Jaismeen Kaur of BCom third semester claimed third position with 8.88 SGPA.
Rural colleges have made their mark in the semester results as students from various institutions have secured top positions across streams among nearly 200 colleges affiliated to the university.
Simranjit Kaur said she followed a fixed schedule and cleared doubts in the class itself. “My teachers were available even after college hours for help,” Simranjeet added. Navjot Kaur said she was focussed on presentation of the answers and managed all questions within time.
