MENUMBOK: The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony is not just about completing the recitation of the holy verses but also symbolises appreciation and love for the Quran as a guide for life.
Beaufort Member of Parliament, Datuk Siti Aminah Aching said the Holy Quran serves as the Muslims’ guide to avoid being stray from the right path.
AdvertisementShe said this programme also aims to strengthen community ties through activities like ukhuwah visits, which foster a spirit of Islamic ties in the community.
“I was also informed that the ‘Taklim An-Nisa’ class will serve as an important platform for participants to deepen their religious knowledge, particularly in understanding and appreciating the contents of the Quran,” she said during the opening of the Premier Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony held at the Menumbok District Masjid here, recently.
