Kia Carnival 11-Seater Now Locally-Assembled With RM198,500 Introductory Price
The Kia Carnival 11-seater variant is now locally-assembled with an equipment increase.
Shortly after taking over custodianship of the Kia brand, Dinamikjaya Motors introduced the Carnival as a fully-imported 11-seater model at a very attractive price of RM196K (RM200K as of 2023). Then, the company introduced locally-assembled variants at RM231K (8-seater), RM247K (8-seater High spec) and RM261K (7-seater High spec) while still selling the 11-seater as the most affordable, fully-imported model.
Now, the 11-seater Kia Carnival variant is locally-assembled with the only three noteworthy changes being a shift to black and grey upholstery, a smaller colour selection and a price bump to RM213,888. That being said, there’s a limited introductory selling price of RM198,500 inclusive of accessories. This temporary pricing is only available until the end of 2023.
In terms of equipment, the Kia Carnival 11-seater doesn’t differ from the CBU model, as far as we can tell. Under the hood, there’s the 2.2L four cylinder turbo diesel and 8-speed conventional automatic delivering a total of 199hp and 440Nm of torque.

- Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
While the CBU version was originally available in 6 colours, the CKD version will come only in 4: Astra Blue, Snow White Pearl, Meteor Gray and Jet Black.
The same 5-year/100,000km manufacturer warranty and 5-years/100,000km Free Scheduled Maintenance coverage is included too.
