Former Manchester City striker Wim Kieft feels Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is seeing the end of his career.

Kieft, however, can't see Ronaldo going away quietly.

He wrote for De Telegraaf: "He is not feeling well and that became clear again against Spain.

"Ronaldo is forcing it. He barely scores, feels doubt in himself and the people around him and takes his situation at Manchester United with his reserve role to Portugal. It must all be a strange sensation for him.

"After the World Cup, he will have to make that decision to stop with Portugal himself. Then leave for America and play football at a club there. I am afraid that his boundless ambition will not allow him to do that. However, the end is inevitable."
