Kieran Tierney was due to return to Arsenal training today.
The left-back has recovered from knee surgery, which he underwent in April.
The Sun says Tierney has been pencilled in for a comeback in Arsenal's friendly against Nurnberg in Germany.
Manager Mikel Arteta hopes to give him at least part of the game but will make a final check on Tierney earlier in the day to be sure of his readiness.
The fullback's injury saw him miss Scotland's World Cup playoff against Ukraine at the end of the season.
