THE Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) was reportedly going on a catch-and-kill mission, rewarding each person RM30 for each dog killed!
However, recent developments showed that the decision to kill the strays had been postponed due to backlash from Selangor’s Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, non-governmental organisations, the local community as well as netizens.
Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin said in a Facebook post she was disappointed with the “catch-and-kill operation”, adding that neutering strays could help to address the issue, FMT reported.
