Premier League relegation candidates Wolves still have plenty of areas to improve this season.
That is the view of captain Max Kilman, who spoke after the team's loss to Liverpool on Saturday.
Despite taking the lead and having other chances to score in the game, Wolves earned nothing from the match.
Post-game, Kilman told club media: It was a very tough one to take. In the first half we were brilliant. We stuck to the game plan, pressed in the right areas, defended really well and created some good chances as well.
We were dominant, we had some really good chances and we should have put away another goal and then it would have been a different game coming into the second half.
But they were clinical in the second half and won the game in the end, so it was very tough to take the defeat today."
He then added on improving in attack and defense: It's a bit of both. We should have taken more of our chances, but in the second half, when Liverpool start to dominate, we should have held up under the pressure, been a bit more ruthless defensively, and try to cut their chances out.
Pedro [Neto] has been brilliant, Cunha's played really good as well, but we just need to find a way to finish our chances and score more goals. But also, in the other half [of the pitch] we need to defend the box really well, so that will come but we need to look forward to the next game."
