PAPAR: The National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) Kinarut became the first public accredited centre to offer a part-time Chargeman BO (High Voltage System without High Voltage Power Station and High Voltage Overhead Line) course.
Public Service Director-General Datuk Seri Mohd Shafiq Abdullah said IKBN Kinarut has the trust of the Energy Commission to offer the course to ensure skilled workforce in the field of Education and Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) can meet the needs of the industry.
“The course received very encouraging response from the industry to improve the competence of their employees as chargeman.
