In a world where stray pets often roam unnoticed, some people go out of their way to extend kindness and care. Among them, a Malaysian couple has taken extraordinary steps to ensure that the stray dogs near their home are well-fed and happy.

Shaan and his wife, known for their love of animals, have turned their compassion into action by preparing meals for strays four times a week.

Documented on their Instagram account @shaan_graphy, their actions have captured the attention and admiration of social media users.

Animal-loving couple

With a household already full of pets, including sugar gliders, hamsters, bearded dragons, geckos, turtles, fishes, and two dogs, Shaan’s affinity for animals isn’t new.

The sight of hungry strays, however, pushed the couple to do more. “Seeing those skinny dogs made us realize we had to help,” Shaan told WeirdKaya.

They decided to feed the strays, finding joy in the wagging tails and happy barks of the dogs they helped.

The couple feeds the dogs every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, adjusting based on weather and the presence of dogs. Their aim is to not waste any food and find dogs in need wherever they may be.

Their menu for the strays includes rice mixed with turmeric, black pepper, carrots, pumpkin, and various chicken parts, ensuring the meals are nutritious and filling.
