Kind M’sian opens up her house toilet for those who are stuck in the Raya jam

One of the most tiring things when heading to and from our respective hometowns during the festivities is definitely the jam. In a recent display of kindness, a Malaysian family has decided to open up their toilet for those who are stuck in the jam!

According to a video posted on TikTok by Anis, it showcased her preparing a signboard to be placed outside of her house. Writing the words,

Tandas free, masuk jer! (Free washroom, just come in)”

Watching the video, cars were seen being stuck in a jam, going up to a few metres. Understanding the struggle, Anis and her family has opened up their washroom and not long after, a few cars began stopping next to their house, taking turns to use their washroom. Taking place in Terengganu, Anis shared that this isn’t their first time opening up their house to passersby.

“We’ve done this for Hari Raya Haji last year as well”, she mentioned.

Other than that, Anis revealed that they didn’t only just offer their washroom to passersby, but also provided them with water and a place to charge their phones. Other than that, they were also given a space to perform their prayers. Recalling the day, she mentioned that over 100 people actually stopped by and used the facilities she offered.
