
HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, in a message shared via Facebook, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all members of the fire and rescue services, describing them as heroes who are always ready to face danger in the line of duty.

“You are heroes, ever prepared to face danger to ensure the safety of the community,” His Majesty said.
The King also offered prayers for firefighters who have lost their lives in the course of duty.
“Al-Fatihah for those who have left us. May they be placed among the faithful and martyrs,” he added.
Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, joined His Majesty in commemorating the occasion.
