Kota Kinabalu: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Datuk Chin Su Phin has urged all political parties to abide by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah’s decision to appoint Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the new Prime Minister.

He said LDP fully supports the King’s decision and hopes that political parties will give Anwar an opportunity to lead the country for the sake of political stability.

He said the King had issued a decree for the formation of a unity government as His Majesty saw that a federal government with merely simply majority would not bode well for national stability.
